Orange Gravel Trail
The route comprises 8 section of approximately 50 - 70km per section, total distance of 380km, linking the towns of
Cowra, Canowindra, Cargo, Cudal, Molong, Orange, Milthorpe, Blaney, Carcoar, Mandurama, Woodstock
The Orange Gravel trail is a mixture flat terrain, steep climbs and steep descents.
The route is suitable/recommended for experienced gravel cyclists

The route avoids using main roads and utilises secondary rural bitumen and gravel roads. Bikes best suited to the route are hybrid or gravel bikes, mountain bikes, E Bikes.
The Lachlan Valley Trail and Central West cycle region has been developed by Central West Tours. Cyclist who choose to self guide the LVCT or do other regional cycle routes shown on this site do so at their own risk and should take all reasonable steps to review road, weather and seasonal farming conditions before and during their Lachlan Valley adventure.
